Activities
All our activities are organised by Book, Stage and story. Choose the Book you are using from the menu on the left and then the particular Stage and story you are studying.
To find out a little more about the type of activities we provide, click any of the links below (or one of the thumbnails on the right). For more information on the plugins (Flash and Shockwave) which are required to use these activities please go to

What does it do? It lets you choose any word in a story, giving you a dictionary definition and explaining difficult phrases. What do you need? The Flash plugin (version 9 or later). Where does it occur? Attached to stories - at present every story has an ''Explore'' option. Can I see it? There are images of the intro screen, an example of the feedback and another example . |  |  |
What does it do? Tests your vocabulary - you decide whether to do Latin-English, English-Latin, the range of words, how many questions and the time pressure.
What do you need? The Flash plugin (version 9 or later). Where does it occur? In the Practising the Language section of a stage - at present throughout Books I and II.
Can I see it? There are images of the intro screen, the wordlist , a typical question and the feedback.

What does it do? Tests your knowledge of Latin word endings - nouns, verbs, adjectives, etc. What do you need? The Shockwave plugin (version 10 or later). Where does it occur? In the Practising the Language section of a stage - at present they are in Stages 21-28. Can I see it? There are images of a typical question, choosing an answer and the result.
|  |  | What does it do? Requires you to sort words into categories - by case, by meaning, etc. What do you need? The Shockwave plugin (version 10 or later). Where does it occur? In the Practising the Language section of a stage - there are many activities per Stage throughout Books I to V. Can I see it?
There are images of a typical question, midway through , the feedback and the final result.
